Big Al’s Texturing Ltd. began its texturing journey in 1990—5 years after Alex Cheslock started his career in texturing ceilings.
Ever since, the company’s cornerstone lies within quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. These two have allowed Alex and his amazing support staff to develop long-lasting relationships with their clients by providing quality and top-notch work.
Big Al’s experiences in the industry have made them grow from one person and a fleet truck to a number of staff and trucks in Calgary—servicing texturing painting, and renovation projects, big or small. Big Al's continues to dominate their core service offerings and have plans to expand into 2 other major Canadian cities in the near future.

Alex started Big Al’s inside his personal home in 2001— fast forward a few years later and Alex had honed his skills & craft in texturing ceilings. Once considered the “all-around” employee for all texturing roles, Alex now helms the head of the table by assuming more of a leadership role, all while continuing to maintain a family atmosphere within the business.

During the inquiry process, we can talk about the specific needs and goals for your project. We will then identify what service you’ll need from us. During this phase, we can easily determine what best course of action we should take and we may also present you with different budgeted options that fall in line with what is on your to-do list.
After considering what services you’ll require, what materials will be used, and other important factors, we can now give you an estimate on how much the whole project will last and cost. During this phase, we may also book a home or business assessment to understand more clearly your true specifications.
Now that we’ve discussed all of your deliverables and presented you with a roadmap, it’s time to go to work!
You’ll be notified of the people—and how many of them—will come into your home, and they’ll make sure to keep you informed of what’s happening during the entire process.
We strive to ensure that every member of our team has the tools, knowledge, and training required to maintain the highest level of quality.
We provide exceptional execution of operations to ensure safe, timely, cost-effective, and quality performance on every one of our projects.
Big Al’s contributes and supports our local communities through contributions and volunteer work.
